The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

I created a weight loss program specially designed for veterinarians struggling with emotional eating.

IT DOESN’T FEEL LIKE PULLING YOUR TEETH WITHOUT ANESTHESIA!

I know the good, the bad, and the ugly of this amazing profession.

I learned the struggles the vets face through a life-long exposure to the vet profession at an international level.

Want some data?

I LOOOOVE data! ๐Ÿค“

I am 45 years old (46 in a couple of months).

Since early childhood, I was exposed to and/or worked with my father, a veterinarian. Some of my earliest memories are connected to the vet profession. The most intense “ugly” comes from that early-life exposure of being the kid of a vet in a severe dictatorial communist country. The most intense "ugly" in my relationship with food, money and abundance comes from that period as well. But that's a story for another time. ๐Ÿ˜ž

So, yeap, I have over 40 years of exposure/active involvement in this profession: from the deepest and the darkest fears of being a vet in a dictatorial regime to the highest professional accomplishments of working as a vet in Sweden, the European country with one of the highest standards of animal welfare in the world.

At an international level, I’ve “touched” through my life, coaching people from over 20 countries. So far… ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

The vast majority of my current clients are based in the USA and Canada.

The specifically designed coaching tools that address the emotional eating for veterinarians are based on:

-FOUR YEARS of active working as a life coach

-THOUSANDS of hours of coaching

-ONE Certification training through The Life Coach School

-ONE Advanced Weight Loss Certification Training through The NoBS Weight Loss University

- NUMEROUS trainings in DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion), suicide prevention and awareness, trauma responses in our bodies, anxiety-coping tools, emotional healing/ handling intense emotions, to name only a few.

These are the most relevant trainings to mention when I work with vet-colleagues, the profession with one of the highest suicide rates in the world.

The diets fail because it’s NOT about counting calories, exercising more, or counting macros.

It’s NOT about the carbs, the fats, or the intermittent fasting, even if I can even geek on those at a cellular level with you if you wish. ๐Ÿคฃ

It’s about knowing how to cope with life when you've had a successful day at work, and the pet owners bring you the most luxurious collection of mini-cupcakes in 20 different flavours. To know how to: 1. have a lunch box, and 2 eat what's inside that box when hungry.

Or when the shit hits the fan parvo-diarrhea style and your brain tells you to “F*ck it” and drink a bottle of red with the extra-cheesy crust pizza. "Just to take the edge off."

It’s about knowing how to deal with urges, cravings, self-sabotage, impostor syndrome, lack of confidence, while your skinny partner or significant other just discovered their life-long hidden passion: BAKING! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿคจ

You know that you don’t have to be overweight to want to stop emotional eating?

Because learning the tools for dealing with our emotions might have as a SIDE-EFFECT WEIGHTLOSS!

But the primary effect IS FEELING BETTER EVERY SINGLE DARN DAY!

And not spending so much time in unnecessary negativity, pain and self-loathing thoughts.
